What is the Illuminating Engineering Society?
The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) was founded in 1906 and is a highly recognized worldwide association for transmitting information on good practices to its members, the community and consumers through programs, publications and services. The IES brings together with its experience a community of lighting of first level, dedicated to promote the art and science of lighting to its members, professional allies, organizations and the general public.
What is the IES Section Mexico?
The IES Section Mexico belongs to District Four of the Southern Region and follows the guidelines for the promotion of enlightenment through dissemination, education and programs for the benefit of its members and society.
The IES Section Mexico is a non-profit civil association, legally constituted, whose organization is based on the guidelines set by the statutes of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) of the United States.
Who is part of the Working Committee of the Association?
People related to the environment who, on a personal basis, voluntarily and without economic or other remuneration, contribute their time, knowledge and interest in fulfilling the objectives and mission of the Association.
